IICM Processes Overview

IICM Processes heavily integrate our projects with our mission and our values in order to promote missional strategy development and implementation processes. Each of our processes use various parts of our projects in order to enable Christians and their ministry leaders to achieve missional results. Below is a brief overview of the processes that we provide to individual Christians, churches, denominational entities, and mission agencies who face different missional scenarios needing online and offline integration of missional components.

Designed for Different Missional Scenarios

IICM Processes are designed for different situations that missional leaders face in their ministries. These situations include such scenarios as:

  • Exposing ministry leaders and/or church members to an understanding of their APEPT role, for example the APEPT Missionality Seminar
  • Developing peer-to-peer learning among churches who minister to specific types of people groups within similar social environments, for example the Missional Learning Clusters
  • Training leaders to be able to mentor pastors and church leaders to become missional ministers through Missional Coach training.
  • Providing community and congregational research to enable churches to address issues in reaching people for Christ, developing missional leaders, and creating a contextualized missional strategy.
  • Equipping denominational leaders through research and training to create missional strategies to reach their counties, regions or states.
  • Equipping missional leaders regarding how to conduct community research to assess the sociocultural setting and needs within the community as a basis for missional strategy development.

Integrating Online & Offline Missional Components

IICM Processes also intentionally integrate both "online" and "offline" components in order to maximize delivery of missional research and training.

Online Components

Online components include the following types of resources:

  • Surveys that are completed online, for example the APEPT Missionality Survey
  • Research reports that are compiled online and emailed directly to you, for example the APEPT Missionality Report and the Missional Zipcode Catalogue.
  • Research reports that are ordered online but compiled offline and then emailed to you, for example the TRIBALDEX report.
  • Collaborative writing and editing online, for example the Missional Cyclopedia
  • Online Zipcode demographic and other missional data provided at the Missional Corps
  • Online mapping capabilities to visualize your Missional Culturescape.
  • Online training courses (future development of the Missional College).

Offline Components

Offline components include on-site training, workships, seminars and other resources such as:

  • APEPT Missionality workshops (3 hrs) and seminars (1 1/2 days) for lay leaders & pastors.
  • Missional Culturescaping Workshop to introduce the iFOCUS congregational development process. (either 1/2 day or full day)
